Zebra Finch Pair

About this animal

Zebra finches are the small change of the bird world: cheap to keep, endlessly active and always talking to each other in soft beeps. They are strictly hands-off birds and need company of their own kind. A group of four or six in a long flight cage is far better than a single pair in a small one.

  Normal room temperature, out of draughts

  Foreign finch seed mix, fresh greens, cuttlebone, egg food when breeding

  Long flight cage, at least 100 cm wide; length matters more than height
