Getting your animal home
Pickup & delivery
Two ways to receive an animal, both arranged by email after you have agreed a price. Nothing is booked or charged through this website.
Collection
Free · by appointment
The preferred option, and the only one for birds and small mammals. You meet the animal, see the parents and go through your setup together before anything changes hands. Bring a suitable transport box; one can be provided if you forget. Collection is in 12345 Musterstadt, visits by appointment, tue to sat.
Live-animal courier
Reptiles only · quoted per order
For reptile buyers further away we use a courier licensed for live animals. Boxes are insulated, ventilated and packed with a heat pack or cool pack depending on the forecast. Shipments leave Monday to Wednesday so nothing sits in a depot over a weekend, and someone must be home to receive the box.
After you agree a price

A date is agreed by email
Only once your setup is ready. For courier shipments the forecast at both ends has to sit roughly between 5 and 28 °C.

The animal is prepared
Fed a few days beforehand, with a printed care sheet, the feeding record and any certificates the species needs.

Handover or delivery
You collect in person and pay there, or receive a tracking link and a delivery window from the courier.

Check in afterwards
Send a message or a photo the same day. Any concern goes straight to Lucas, and to a vet if needed.
Weather rule
If it is too hot or too cold, we wait. A week's delay is nothing compared to an animal arriving stressed. You will be told as soon as a date is confirmed.
14-day health guarantee
Applies to collection and courier alike. If a vet confirms a pre-existing condition within 14 days, you get a refund or a replacement. Details are in the terms.
