How buying here works
This site is a noticeboard, not a shop. Nothing is charged online, nothing is binding until you and Lucas have agreed, and every price is open to discussion.

Find an animal
Every listing carries a reference number, the animal's sex and hatch date, its full care requirements and an expected price class. Read the care section honestly. If the housing line describes something you cannot provide, that animal is not the one.

Send an email
The button on each listing opens your mail app with the reference already filled in and a blank line for your offer. Add a sentence or two about your experience and your setup. That is the whole application process.

Agree a price
You will get a reply with a yes, a no, or a counter-offer, usually within a day or two. Expect questions back about enclosure size, heating and who else lives in the house. This is also where you should ask anything you are unsure about.

Collect and pay
Most animals are collected in person by appointment, which is also a chance to see the parents and the setup they grew up in. You pay on handover, in cash or by instant bank transfer, once you have seen the animal in front of you.
Reading the price classes
No animal on this site has a fixed price. Each one sits in a class that tells you the range to expect, so you know roughly what you are walking into before you write.

Making an offer
What actually moves the price
- A fair offer inside the listed range is usually accepted without discussion.
- Taking two animals from the same clutch or a bonded pair almost always improves the price.
- Older animals and ones that have been listed a while have more room in them.
- Below the range, say why. A clear reason works far better than a round number.
- A good home genuinely counts. Animals have gone for less to the right person.
One thing that is not negotiable: the animal has to be going somewhere it can live properly. Lucas would rather keep an animal than sell it into a setup that is not ready.
